Salon Coordinator

It takes someone with strong project management skills and entrepreneurial spirit to navigate Guest Services along with Retail, Salon Operations, Admin Duties, all from the multi-tasking hub of a busy salon – the front desk. You’ll actively participate in operations during peak times to ensure smooth functionality of the business and oversee the Stylists’ time management. This is where your collaborative, mediation talents flourish - anticipating problems or conflicts and adjusting accordingly.

Ensuring guest experience is first and foremost from converting inquiry calls to sales and booking appointments, to the moment clients enter the salon and are greeted by you. Your upbeat personality and impeccable style makes you the perfect Mystique ambassador!

ESSENTIALS

  • You must have strong project management skills – time management, improving efficiencies - technology and productivity tools are your jam.

  • You take charge and responsibility for the day to day organization and systemization in a clear and logical way.

  • A proactive, strategic big picture thinker, you’ll inspire and wow clients and your team.

  • Generous in spirit and collaborative by nature - this is a very inclusive and supportive team.

  • You’re sparked by the idea of supporting and promoting talented stylists to be the best that they can be.

  • Experience with Quickbooks and Google Drive apps are considered an asset. If you know about Meevo, even better!

  • Knowledge of social media, a pleasant phone manner and a strong ability in the English language is mandatory.

DUTIES

Customer service, retail sales, ordering and receiving, inventory management, merchandising, payroll, supplier payments, daily cash reconciliation, planning staff meetings, salon marketing, social media, event planning, and maintaining a smooth daily operational flow.
